Strategic operator profile
I am building Biotica Bio into a consulting practice where reproducible, Open Targets–grounded diligence is the product: decision-ready target and pipeline assessments for investors and startups, not one-off opinions. The ambition is to be the obvious call when biology has to hold up in real deals, boards, and fundraises—with methodology you can share, re-run, and defend.
Ambition
- Standard of proof: Deliverables that look like what serious venture and BD processes expect—clear thesis, downside biology, and explicit uncertainty—anchored in public evidence and provenance.
- Repeatable craft: Same query logic and section structure across clients so quality scales with process, not heroics.
- Operator credibility: Judgment informed by venture evaluation, company building, and cross-domain execution—not abstract strategy slides.
Pragmatic outreach and revenue
- Primary buyers: Life sciences investors (diligence, portfolio context, screening) and biotech leadership (fundraising narrative, BD, prioritisation). Same evidence engine; different packaging and pace.
- How conversations start: Public examples and methodology on this site, then a scoped proposal—fixed scope, timeline, and deliverable—so the first engagement is easy to approve and easy to evaluate.
- Trust before scale: No investing conflict; the commercial model is paid assessment work and follow-on scopes when outcomes justify it.
- What “good” looks like commercially: Fast clarity on fit, a first paid sprint that proves usefulness, and repeat or expanded work when teams want the same rigor on the next target, indication, or portfolio slice.
Decision contribution
- Converts complex biological and platform evidence into decision-ready investment and partnership narratives.
- Integrates scientific validity with adoption, reimbursement, and operating feasibility where it changes the conclusion.
- Produces clear go / conditional-go / hold framing with explicit risk and milestone logic.
